Nov 28, 2025. We celebrate
138 Years
Of foundation of the Congregation of the Missionaries of St. Charles - Scalabrinians (1887-2025).
We give thanks for the enduring grace that has guided our mission since 1887. Inspired by St. John Baptist Scalabrini, we renew our commitment to accompany, protect, and uplift migrants and refugees, women and men who continue to reveal the face of Christ through their journeys, their hopes, and their resilience. Across more than a century, the Scalabrinian mission has crossed borders, cultures, and languages, always centered on the Gospel and grounded in human dignity. Today, in a world marked by mobility and uncertainty, our charism remains not only relevant but essential, to be a bridge of compassion, advocacy, and pastoral care for those most in need.
We celebrate this anniversary with gratitude for all the missionaries, lay collaborators, and communities who have faithfully lived this vocation. May the Holy Spirit sustain us as we continue to contribute for a world where people love each other beyond culture or race, where tolerance grows, peace takes root, and migrants and refugees who seek peace and a better life, are welcomed, protected, promoted, and integrated.
May these 138 years inspire us to walk forward with renewed courage, unity, and missionary hope.
