Provincial Assembly, May 2025

As Pilgrims of Hope, the Province of St. Charles Borromeo joyfully convened its annual Provincial Assembly in Cúcuta, Colombia, from May 5-9, 2025. We greet our Superior General, Fr. Leonir, for his guidance and for sharing this important event with us, as well as the new missionaries joining our mission. This gathering celebrated the jubilees of our dedicated confreres, reflected on the evolving challenges of our service to migrants, and prioritized the renewal of our Provincial Missionary Project.

During the assembly, we welcomed the news of the election of Pope Leo XIV on May 8, praying for his guidance in leading the universal Church. United in faith and inspired by Saint John Baptist Scalabrini, we reaffirm our commitment to journeying with migrants, promoting a vibrant community life, and proclaiming hope through our shared vocation.
