112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees
September 27, 2026
Even Just One of These Children
On September 27, our communities celebrated the 112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees. This year's theme, “Even Just One of These Children,” calls us to see the dignity and the story of every child who experiences migration or displacement.
Pope Leo XIV asks the whole Church to make welcome a lasting pastoral practice. The message of our Superior General, Fr. Leonir Chiarello, invites us to respond to the reality of children forced to flee with compassion and concrete action.
Explore both messages and the moments shared by Our Lady Queen of Peace in Delray Beach, Florida, St. Bartholomew Church in Rhode Island, the Bureau Vocationnel Scalabrini in Haiti, St. Vincent Parish in Margate, Florida, our community in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and San Pablo VI Howard Parish in Panama.
